[Bug-AUCTeX] \em underline goes to edge of buffer instead of edge of text

Hi,

Using 11.85-3, the following file:

one {\em two
three} four

shows " two" underlined but the underline goes all the way to the edge 
of the buffer, and then continues on the next line to the end of the 
word "three".  I think it should go only to the end of the word "two" 
before continuing below.
