[Bug-AUCTeX] editing letter.tex provokes "Symbol's function definition is void: LaTeX-add-environments"

Hi,

I am using auctex-11.85-3 that comes with Fink.

$ echo foo > letter.tex
$ emacs letter.tex
--> "Symbol's function definition is void: LaTeX-add-environments"

If I then switch to the buffer, I can edit things normally.

If I use article.tex, I get:

"Symbol's function definition is void: LaTeX-largest-level-set"

I suspect it's the same for all document classes.
