Ok, I'm submitting my thesis in a week or so, so I'm not going to risk
changing my system now for something I can work around. Once I get it
sent off I'll take a look at updating to 4.32 and see if that solves
my problem. If I'm lucky Emacs22 will be in Lenny by then.
