Update to a newer version of preview-latex. AUCTeX 11.82 comes with
its own version of preview-latex. If you really insist on using
AUCTeX 11.55, the last separately released version of preview-latex
was 0.9.1.
The problem is that GhostScript has been fscking up the .setsafer
command in different varieties from version to version, and only newer
versions of preview-latex avoid getting bitten by it.
