[Bug-AUCTeX] 2005-05-16;M-x fill-paragraph-or-region is broken.

Dear bug-fixing team,

`M-q' or `M-x fill-paragraph-or-region <RET>' seems to be broken. Instead of
filling the paragraph, all new-lines are removed. When `stack-trace-on-error'
is enabled, the following backtrace is produced:
