Hi Bill,

to me it very much looks like the FILE_IO workspace (or whatever ⎕FIO wrapper
you are using) was not loaded.

Check with )FNS before calling FIO∆pipefrom.

Could it also be that you accidently )LOADed one of your helper workspaces
(on top-level or below) rather than )COPYing it?

Best Regards,
Jürgen

I'm trying to get my laptop ready for a three week trip when I tripped over an error using apl-library/apl_kbd workspace.

Andelot is the name of my laptop and the attached log shows the error (including some of my own) and some testing I did to see if I could figure out whats going on.

Verdun is the name of my desktop where I could not recreate the error..

Both machines reply to same to uname -a:

Linux verdun.dilworth.dalywebandedit.com 4.19.0-18-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.19.208-1 (2021-09-29) x86_64 GNU/Linux

(well, actually andelot admits its name is andelot)

Both machines have the same /etc/debian_version:

10.11
