file-align option doesn't work satisfactory |

Hello a2ps!
I have tried to use the option --file-align to get several files into one
sheet. Two main problems occur:
1) Using the mode 'fill', doesn't fill the page with as many files as
possible, as was written on www.infres.enst.fr/~demaille/a2ps/4.12.html
For example, if I write at the prompt
a2ps -ofile.ps --file-align=fill file1.txt file2.txt file3.txt
the different files all begin on a new page, making it 3 pages on 2
sheets alltogether, even though they obviously could fit on one sheet.
2) When having two one-page-sized postscript documents, they wont fit on
one sheet, even though they could. Giving the commandline
a2ps -ofile.ps --file-align=fill file1.ps file2.ps
generates two sheets, each of them having the left A5-part of the sheet
comprising one of the files, and the right A5-part being blank.
Are there any solutions to these problems, or is it a bug you can fix to
the next version? I would be very glad for an answer!
Yours sincerely, MÃ¥rten Berglund, Uppsala, Sweden.
