Hi there
I'm not sure if this is a bug, or misconfiguration on my part, and
whether it is a GhostScript problem or an a2ps problem, but perhaps
you can suggest something.
I have an HP 610C deskjet printer. Living in South Africa, I use A4 paper.
I have installed the a2ps-a4 package on FreeBSD. I have a lp print filter
which runs PostScript files through GhostScript before printing them; my
GhostScript command line includes -sPAPERSIZE=a4. However, printing stuff
via a2ps causes the left hand edge of the output to lose about 1 column of
output. For example, "ls | a2ps" gives me a listing with lines like:
ash_history
shrc
ogin
inks
rofile
ad.letter
Any ideas why this is happening?
TIA
gram
