Actually, I knew, and I felt that, provided there's an even distribution of 
characters in file names (which is obviously true), it was 256 times more risky 
to find a \n, vs */.  And I did not want to have to have to edit the file.  
Yet, we can put it in comment, but still with a call to quote to map eol to 
'\n'.
