Hi Teus,This is unfortunate but not surprising for UBS to take this stance. In my opinion would be just as well to put this feature request aside until the Chorus collaboration tool (http://projects.palaso.org/projects/show/7) is implemented and people can use that for working with repositories in a collaborative way. Once that happens I think the way many look at handling data collaboratively will change. I think this is one of those issues that will solve itself over time. Just my opinion though so my vote is to abstain. ;-)

This changes the situation. There is one person who voted for this feature by submitting a request to implement it, and now there is a second vote, which is against. I believe that we need more votes on this topic before a decision can be made to either cancel this feature request or continue the pursuit to have it implemented. Parties may have to give reasons as well why they vote for or against. Teus. Nathan Miles was reluctant since this could cause errors and a support nightmare. Implementation of this feature probably need to wait till Paratext 7 has been released. Or would it be possible, Nathan, to supply me with a development or beta version of PT7? Thanks, Teus. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/task/?8022> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.nongnu.org/
