There are now some initial test packages of bibledit-gtk 4.1 for Ubuntu
10.04 Lucid in the developer-testing PPA at

Equivalent packages for Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick should become available
there shortly.

NOTE: These are initial and somewhat rough packages.  I would not
suggest anyone distribute them to a large set of users worldwide or
anything like that!  But testers are very welcome to test them, and
report how well or badly they work, here on the list.
