While not disparaging anything already written in this topic, I wonder how
many of you have come across Gobby, the collaborative Unicode compliant text
editor?

Peter and I used it 15 months ago to do some corrections to a book in a right
to left script!

For some such tasks it is a brilliant tool.

The upper pane is where the editing takes place.
The lower pane is just like an IRC chat session.
