Details:

BE 4.0.10 will not let me select text past a paragraph break. For instance,
verses 5-6 are one paragraph. I can select that much. I cannot select 5-7.
This is no matter whether I use the system when one clicks then clicks a
second time with shift held down, or place the cursor and use shift plus arrow
keys.
