Hi Peter Checking where my modules are, I found: file:///media/cdrive/sword_modules/modules (this is the ntfs drive for windows, I am actually in Xubuntu 9.04); In file:///media/cdrive/sword_modules/modules/texts/bibledit/german_good_news there are 6 files, it is strange, that both - nt.bzs and - nt.bzz have 0 B (comparing with ESV, this is not the case. Checking for the config file, I found: - german_good_news.conf in file:///media/cdrive/sword_modules/mods.d/esv.conf with: [german_good_news] DataPath=./modules/texts/bibledit/german_good_news/ ModDrv=RawText SourceType=OSIS Encoding=UTF-8 BlockType=BOOK GlobalOptionFilter=OSISStrongs GlobalOptionFilter=OSISMorph GlobalOptionFilter=OSISFootnotes GlobalOptionFilter=OSISHeadings GlobalOptionFilter=OSISRedLetterWords MinimumVersion=1.5.6 Lang=de Version=1.0 Description= Bibledit project About= Bibledit project LCSH=Bible--Translation DistributionLicense=UBS text There is neither a 4 or 6 in it (for an uncompressed or a compressed module) Should I look for another config file? When using the Sword library from svn everything goes fine. There was a problem with osis2mod producing a compressed module even if asked not to. Check the files in the actual module folder ~/.sword/modules/texts/bibledit/<my_module>/ - if you have 4 files then you got an uncompressed moudle, if 6 it is a compressed one. Alter the module configuration file accordingly and things should work. And, yes, a newer sword will have corrected this.
