Follow-up Comment #10, bug #27238 (project bibledit):

If invalid USFM is fed into the OpenDocument converter, then unexpected
results are to be expected. I'd recommend fixing all the markers first, then
to try again.

About the [return]b before the x and so on, that may have been caused by
Bibledit, it may not. Comparison with the original data could tell.

If you would send me some original data, I could have a look at this.
