[be] [bug #27244] References disappearing

Follow-up Comment #1, bug #27244 (project bibledit):

This is a feature, rather than a bug.

The feature is this:

If there are any references in a footnote or crossreference, if the user
click on that note, the references contained in that note load into the
references area.

Since your note probably didn't have any references that bibledit could read,
it found none references, and so cleared the search results.
