Follow-up Comment #1, task #9454 (project bibledit):

The current implementation of dbus using bibledit's own threading software
seems to crash the first time after startup of the machine. But not
consistently, and it does this also in other cases.

It started when the dbus started to be used. Should we perhaps use the glib
bindings instead?

When dbus was removed, the crashes stopped also.
