Follow-up Comment #5, bug #27028 (project bibledit):
If you receive Ubuntu updates, it is unlikely that these updates follow the
newest version that is in bibledit's git repository at all times.
The version in the git repository has also a fix for the footnotes problem,
and hopefully this will work well for you.
