Follow-up Comment #1:

It is possible to insert these styles without using the mouse at all. If one
were to explore the Ctrl-S accelerator, that brings one to the styles window.
Then once within the styles window one could use the up/down arrow to move the
cursor up and down, and the right arrow to open a category. Once the style is
found, ones presses <Enter> and it inserts. Let's say, we're using the add
style. Next time this add style will be focused and is in the recently used
category. Press Ctrl-S + Enter, and the same style applies.
