Follow-up Comment #1:

The requests here made are the tasks of the windows manager. And the windows
manager is part of the Linux distribution, and cannot be influenced by
bibledit.

Does your windows manager allow to make the menu windows of bibledit sticky,
for example? It probably does allow that.

Then, showing or hiding the other windows is the work of the window manager
again.

Is this ok as it is?
