Previously, before the Resource viewer was integrated into the Tool window,
BE could use Firefox and scroll material within the browser. Because many web
pages use a left hand frame (like Savannah) this means that the placement of
windows doesn't work efficiently if a page like that is loaded into the
Resource Viewer. So I wish that there was an option where the user could
decide if the resource goes into the tool window or into the browser.

It is true that previously Firefox could be used, and scroll through
material. But there were two problems with that:
1 - It used too much CPU power, and people complained about that.
2 - Only specially crafted web pages could be loaded, not normal pages
straight off the web.

In a time when many go to netbooks and other low power devices, the CPU
resources that it would consume are simply not available. And Firefox, if
scrolling, would not be able to show the pages that Bibledit now shows.
