Details:
I have Ubuntu 8.10. The installation guide says I should install the package
libxml2-dev. I didn't see that package available in the Synaptic list. I did
install libxml2-dbg because that seemed like the closest match. Another close
match was libxml++2.6dev.
Bibledit installed fine with libxml2-dbg installed.
