Follow-up Comment #9:

The first rough draft for the usfm2osis converter is now operational. I'll do
a bit of testing on it, and then release it quietly. Whosoever is not
satisfied with the performance, and this is very likely to happen, he or she
can submit bug reports against the converter. It does steamroll through the
usfm code, as it should, and the osis output is reasonably good enough for
producing sword modules, but all details of the osis standard have not yet
been implemented.
