Details:

I have written asking for help in Wiki or web page integration before. Now
that so many improvements have been made to BE, this request comes close to
fulfilling what I need in that area. (I once saw a similar feature or bug
report by Wolfgang, but can't find it now.)

Our web pages and GoogleDoc pages have each verse in a table cell.
When pasted as text into BE's import window, the result looks like this

text as heading

1 text of verse one
2 text of verse two

When I "discover" the markup of such text, I get something like

\s text as headng
\p
\v 1 text off verse one
\p
\v 2 text of verse two

The problem is that only the first \p marker is correct. BE puts in \p
markers anywhere there is a return.

Usually all I want to import and merge is the text, not the formatting. Could
we have a check box that would perhaps be named
__ Import text only, preserve BE formatting

The next thing I would need would be a way to see the changes in each verse,
one at a time, as the merge process goes forward.

Thanks!
