Follow-up Comment #2:

The focusing system has been greatly simplified, now following the natural
way that the windows manager wishes it to have: Each window is now separate,
and can be Alt-Tab-bed to. The previous focus system was too complicated and
gave too many errors, one of which you mentioned in this bug. Simplifying the
focusing system solved your bug too.
