[be] [bug #23904] BE is not updating the verse number after mouse clicks on a different verse

Follow-up Comment #2, bug #23904 (project bibledit):

A few things were changed that were thought to be the cause of this. Testing
after the change it now properly updates the verse numbers in the external
programs. Fixed for BibleWorks, BART, TW (though I didn't try it, but as the
code is the same as for BibleWorks, and the the same changes were applied as
in the BibleWorks code, it should work).
