Sounds great, I have not seen this feature implemented in any software up to
now:
Similar tools are the Desktop tool in TW-folio, TW-libronix and Paratext have
a similar thing (only calls it differently.
Source Language Tools (part of the PT 6 package) has a very interesting
approach too, opening a dozen of windows in two layers, which can switched
back and forth.
So I am looking forward to what you plan for BE and see what can be done with
this new approach.
