Follow-up Comment #2, bug #24697 (project bibledit):

Played around with the new features and have 3 detached windows open (Quick
Reference, Resources, Merge) and all three 'within (or on top of)' BE.

I found a way to activate the main BE window by hotkeys:
- Alt+Tab which accesses the tasklist (at least it is called so in Windows)
in order to switch to another open application.
But in this case, Alt+Tab switches to itself (one of the detached windows,
usually the resources one).

Using Alt+Tab several times (up to 10) finally puts the main BE window in the
forground and all the detached ones in the background. Then you can use all
the BE hotkeys again.

To make the detached windows visible again: Alt+Tab switches to another
(open) application this time, and again Alt+Tab allows to go back to BE with
all (three) detached windows in the forground.

-> What is the 'philosophy' behind the detached windows? Are they planned to
be postioned outside the main BE window? where the described problem does not
show up?)
It is nice, that BE remembers the positions of the detached windows when it
is restarted (not all, see seperate report).

I attach the file be_detached_windows.jpg to show this.
