[be] [bug #24483] Check spelling: Choice of shared dictionaries: no access to this dictionary

Follow-up Comment #6, bug #24483 (project bibledit):

When right-clicking a misspelled word, then a menu opens, the first item of
which is "Spelling suggestions". That option does nothing of its own, but what
should happen is that a submenu becomes visible that gives the spelling
suggestions, or allows the user to add the word to the dictionary. It works on
Debian 4.0, but I can't make a screenshot of it because it refuses to take
it.

I wonder what makes it not working on your machine. Nothing has been changed
in that code recently.

Does the log file gives any clue?
