Follow-up Comment #3:

Bibledit used a GtkTextView at first to display project notes. That allowed
to notice whether a user right-clicked something. But now Bibledit uses
gtkhtml3 for displaying these notes. And that does notice whether a user
right-clicked something. For that reason the [delete] link was inserted. A
user commented that the [delete] link was more intuitive to him, as such
things are common on the web. So this means, in short, that the right-click
option cannot be implemented.
