Details:

In the Git Remote Repository Setup dialog box, there is a hotkeyAlt+y to go
to the Synchronize data every .... seconds.
Using this hotkey, the actual number is selected.
Typing in a new number shows up, but when choosing Alt+O for OK, the previous
number is kept.

-> Allow the changes to take place.
