Follow-up Comment #4:

This is a technical glitch in the compare routine. The compare routine is not
yet fully up to the task, in particular footnotes and crossreferences and
endnotes. Room for improvement is there, also for comparing at the character
level. And the styles behave a bit funny. All of this is the result of
different features not yet having been implemented. If you'd like some of
these features in, and some of these fixed, please open as task for this.
