Update of bug #22942 (project bibledit):

                  Status:                   Fixed => Invalid
             Open/Closed:                  Closed => Open

Follow-up Comment #3:

Correction: Works on BE 3.1.42. (not 3.1.43).

The problem is, that it works only on my (Toshiba M30) but not on a Thinkpad
T40 one. Both have BE 3.1.42 installed.
The difference is, that T40 has Kubuntu installed, the M30 Gubuntu (with
Gnome)

On the T40: Evince works for compare versions, no problem.
But making any change and using Changes regardless the date/time I am
choosing, always gives the message:
'No changes have been recorded since that time'.

Another difference with Gubuntu/Kubuntu: At the moment, I have the Changes
dialog open, but cannot reach it with the task list (Alt-Tab): It does not
have a name and cannot be navigated to. So BE is blocked, as I cannot close
the Changes dialog.
