Yes, I largely agree, which is where I was going with radically
simplifying the server.  The core things that I think make Bayonne
"bayonne" are a plugable driver tree and state engine; and server to
load those driver and run the script engine, manage a libexec type
gateway, and bind additional plugins.  I am not sure if there is really
anything else that is "essential".
