Follow-up Comment #1, bug #46610 (project avrdude):

Almost the same thing.
I've updated the OS yesterday (December, the 6th; Arch Linux 64bit). Among the
other updated packages there was AVRDUDE. Now, when I'm downloading the hex
file, it writes:
--------------------
address@hidden sketch_dec07a]$ avrdude -v -v
-C/usr/share/arduino/hardware/tools/avr/etc/avrdude.conf -patmega328p
-carduino -P/dev/ttyACM0 -b115200 -D
-Uflash:w:sketch_dec07a.cpp.standard.hex:i

avrdude: Version 6.2, compiled on Dec 2 2015 at 15:23:56
         Copyright (c) 2000-2005 Brian Dean, http://www.bdmicro.com/
         Copyright (c) 2007-2014 Joerg Wunsch

         System wide configuration file is
"/usr/share/arduino/hardware/tools/avr/etc/avrdude.conf"
         User configuration file is "/home/burser/.avrduderc"
User configuration file does not exist or is not a regular file,
skipping

         Using Port : /dev/ttyACM0
         Using Programmer : arduino
         Overriding Baud Rate : 115200
Исключение в операции с плавающей точкой
(core dumped)
--------------------
(The last line is translated as "Exception in operation with floating-point
number").

The version of AVRDUDE is the same, 6.2.

IMHO it's somehow connected to configuring the serial port (setting the baud
rate), because when I try to set a different baud rate, the results are
different:
--------------------
address@hidden sketch_dec07a]$ avrdude -v -v
-C/usr/share/arduino/hardware/tools/avr/etc/avrdude.conf -patmega328p
-carduino -P/dev/ttyACM0 -b9600 -D -Uflash:w:sketch_dec07a.cpp.standard.hex:i

avrdude done. Thank you.
