[avrdude-dev] Avrdude can't program ATTiny45 via mega-isp - help!

Hi,

I hope this is the right place to post this..

I'm trying to program an attiny45 using an arduino as a programmer (see
megai-sp http://code.google.com/p/mega-isp/).

I am using the latest winavr package and can program the attiny sucessfully
if I use a small hex file and specify -t13 -F to make it look like a tiny13.

If I use exactly the same parameters with -t45, it fails to verify.

Reading | ##################################################

avrdude: verifying ...
avrdude: verification error, first mismatch at byte 0x0000
         0x0e != 0x00
avrdude: verification error; content mismatch

I suspect therefore that there's a problem with avrdude, specificly
avrdude.conf. I attach the attiny45 section.

Only other clue is that avrdude complains that pagel and bs2 are undefined

avrdude: please define PAGEL and BS2 signals in the configuration file for
part
ATtiny45

.. even though they are set to 0 in avrdude.conf.

Any ideas anybody?

Cheers,

Mat
