Details:
i would like it if avrdude let me do this:
avrdude -c stk500v2 -P /dev/ttyS0 -p attiny85 -U efuse:w:0b11111111:m -U
hfuse:w:0b11011111:m -U lfuse:w:0b01100010:m
but strtoul does not understand the '0b' prefix, so i propose that we change
one line in fileio_imm() in fileio.c. instead of this:
b = strtoul (p, &e, 0);
we should do this:
b = (strncmp (p, "0b", 2)) ? strtoul (p, &e, 0) : strtoul (p+2, &e, 2); /*
check for binary formated (0b10101001) strings */
i tested this and it seems to work great. i have attached a patch file. to
patch, cd to avrdude-5.4 and do 'patch fileio.c
acceptBinaryFormatImmediateValues'
-- ky
