[avrdude-dev] atmega168 and eeprom

Hi,
  With my STK500 (V2 protocol) I can successfully write and read the flash 
memory on my atmega168. But I can't write or read to/from the eeprom. Avrdude 
is stuck at "reading epprom memory". I even tried the CVS version of avrdude, 
with the same results. Using AVR Studio, the eeprom works just fine.

  Any ideas?
