Update of bug #15146 (project avrdude):
Status: None => Confirmed

Follow-up Comment #1:
The EEPROM of all new AVRs really requires page-mode operations
to be present for the STK500v2 protocol to work.
I verified this by adding the respective instructions to the
EEPROM section of the ATmega169 (just committed to CVS), and
that made the -U eeprom option work. This needs to be done
for all new AVRs (where the "mode" parameter has bit 0 set).
