[avrdude-dev] STK500 V2.0 Firmare + AVRDUDE

Hello,

I just got a report that the new version of the STK500 firmware does not work 
with avrdude. There is a thread on AVRFreaks at 
http://www.avrfreaks.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=26060 about this.

It appears to be that now a protocol similar to the MK-II is used for 
communication.

I haven't tried updating my STK500 yet to confirm this, but it looks like it 
could be the case.
