Summary: incompatible MCU-Keywords

Original Submission: Config: WinAVR-20030913-bin-install
        mfile.tcl
        STK500 / AVRStudio 4.08
        Win98se
        avrdudew32 Version 0.1 for MS VISUAL C++ 6.0

Description:
AVRDUDE does not detect the MCU's key words. This is due to the fact that
mfile.tcl and compiler/linker use lower case letters and AVRDUDE expects to
receive the data in capital letters. The CPU types can be rewritten
correspondingly in the avrdude.conf. The modified avrdude.conf is attached.

Just a remark: the Version 0.1 for Visual C++ is not tested very well. PPIs
might not work. The latest W32 native port by the time of writing this is 0.5
for the cygwin build environment. Visual C++ support has been droped since the
complete build process should be possible with free tools.

The problem must be elsewhere because avrdude 4.3.0 (and earlier) is known to
work with sending the mcu name in lowercase letters. MFile was written by Jörg
Wunsch, one of the admins of avrdude.

Could it be that the problem is in the experimental native Win32 version of
avrdude?
