Details:

Which is the difference between "eeprom_write_XX" and "eeprom_update_XX"?
It's not clear from this docu.
A short example would clarify this.

Does the "update"-function make a test of the data if it is different to the
data in eeprom? If not, aborts the "update" the write-process or not?
