Then you have to patch your binutils.  The official GNU projects are
always lagging behind reality.

This is really strange, given that it has been withdrawn within its
infant days.  However, you should be able to pretend it were an
ATmega324P (except for the power-saving features), in particular that
should give you access to the second USART in avr-libc.
