Details:

This is a patch for
  gcc-3.4.4
  binutils-2.16.1
  avr-libc-1.2.5

The most important addition is the support for the mega2560/2561.
I've added a macro AVR_PC_SIZE in the compiler with holds the
number of bytes needed to store the Program Counter on the stack.
This macro is used in avr.c

NOTE: this gives limited support for the 2560/2561. Only the
first half of flash (<128KB) can be used from the C environment.
