Follow-up Comment #6, task #3693 (project avr-libc):

>Only mega256x push 3 bytes on the stack. mega640 and mega128x push 2 bytes
like previous devices.

Let's split this task in

1: mega 640-1280-1281 (easy)

and

2: mega 2560-2561 (not so easy)
