We do have the option to create more than one list as part of the
avr-libc project, so it should be easy enough to create an
address@hidden Jason, if you give me the email addresses of
the subscribers, I could mass-subscribe them through savannah's
mailman interfaces as well, preferrable by way of a mass-invitation,
so anybody knows the change in the mail server.

We might ask the savannah admins whether they could manually import
the old archives. As this won't be an instantenous action, there
might be a short period of time that will be missing in the archive
though.

Hmm, I just had a look, even list creation is currently a manual
process that needs to be done by way of a support request to the
savannah admins. So if there are no objections, I'll send that
request out.

Jason, perhaps you might also announce that on avr-gcc-list itself.

Should we completely drop avr-chat by that time? I personally like
the idea of a chat list, but it seems too few people realized the line
between the GCC and the chat list.
