The only other usage is if someone wanted to build avr-libc from a CVS
checkout and not from the release tarball, they would run bootstrap
first, then the configre/make/make install.

Nope, there's no reason for the current ./configure script not to be in
the cvs archive, just as typically included in most such cvs archives.


Oh, sure, you're right. We'll have to change that in the future to add configure to CVS.
