[avr-gcc-list] Transfer bit conserved by gcc?

It is hard to find an awnser to the following question by google, 
so lets post it here.

Is it true that avr-gcc never produces code that makes explicit
use of the T-bit? In other words, can i presume the T-bit is 
conserved over any function call when the assembly was generated
entirely by gcc, i.e. without any asm() ?
