You can find out your answer by looking in the stdint.h file in
<install>\avr\include:
/** \name Fastest minimum-width integer types
Integer types being usually fastest having at least the specified width
*/
...
typedef uint8_t uint_fast8_t;
If you have it in your stdint.h file, then it's supported. ;-)
