[avr-gcc-list] how to upgrade from gcc-core 3.4.2 to gcc-core 4.1.0 in a

Subject: [avr-gcc-list] how to upgrade from gcc-core 3.4.2 to gcc-core 4.1.0 in already built toolchain

hi friends,

        Need your help . The GNU toolchain which I
installed for the AVR controllers is using the
"gcc-core 3.4.2" . now , i want to upgrade to the
"gcc-core 4.1.0 " in my toolchain . how to upgrade it
? i have to install only the "gcc-core 4.1.0 " and
remove "gcc-core 3.4.2" afterwards or I have to follow
all the steps from starting for the toolchain?
